Four things we do on every project, not because a client asked, but because after 10 years on one product we know what breaks without them.
Every change comes with tests and goes through CI/CD. Not a single merge request reaches the main branch without approval from a colleague and a green pipeline. 660+ spec files on our main product are the proof, not a slide.
We have moved microservices from AWS Fargate to Hetzner with Grafana monitoring and RabbitMQ in place, and the bill dropped several times over. If your AWS invoice hurts, we will show you where the money goes and what can move without risking uptime.
We do not sell juniors as seniors. You see who works on your project, their real level and their rate, and you can talk to any of them directly. If a task can be done by a mid-level engineer cheaper, we will say so.
Some of our engineers joined us as beginners many years ago and grew to senior here. The ones who stay are the ones who care about the product, so you get people who are used to owning results, not tickets.
